Legacy Colorado Mission Trip

Our Legacy (55+) Ministry is partnering with Christ Church Windsor to serve the Colorado community and assist them as they prepare for their biggest event of the year: Easter! Come build personal relationships with the people in the Windsor community, share Christ, help in prep work for Easter, pour into children’s ministry, and afterwards join us on a trail at both the Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Honduras - Fall

Cost: $1,500

We have partnered with 61Isaiah ministries to work with rural churches outside of Gracias, Honduras. Come build personal relationships with these communities, share Christ, train church leaders, pour into children’s ministry, and work with new church planting efforts.
Local Outreach
The primary purpose of these efforts is to reach out to our community in the love of Jesus and support them with the resources that God provides. God has touched thousands of lives in the greater Marble Falls area through these powerful ministries. We are also involved in several local ministry projects around the Highland Lakes area where you too can serve and impact the lives of others.
FBC Local Ministries
ESL Classes
FBC offers free English classes that meet every Thursday at 6:30pm. Ofrecemos clases gratuitas cada Jueves a las 6:30pm.

Food Pantry
Our First Baptist Food Pantry supplies love, support, and groceries for families in need throughout the Highland Lakes area. It is located at 401 Ave. R. Current operating hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-3pm. Anyone who is in need is welcome to come as often as necessary. If you would like to volunteer at the Food Pantry, please contact Pat Preston or call the church office at 830-693-4381.
Social Assistance
Every Tuesday morning, representatives from the First Baptist Social Assistance Ministry assist members of our community who are going through financial struggles. Due to the generous donations from our church members, the Social Assistance ministry is able to help cover needs such as utility bills, rent payments, or other pressing concerns, as well as sharing with each person the hope found only in Jesus Christ. Anyone needing assistance can call the church office at 830-693-4381 to make an appointment.
Men at Work - Volunteer Services
In addition to a weekly study on Thursday mornings, our Men At Work group serves throughout the Highland Lakes area. Their group of Volunteer Services helps with building projects, furniture donations, and assisting the elderly, just to name a few. If you would like to participate with this group and volunteer your resources, talents, and energy to serve people in Jesus’ name, please contact David Baker or call the church office at 830-693-4381.
Creative Hearts
This group of talented volunteers provides beautiful quilts, lap robes, pillows, bags, and countless more items to people of all ages going through tough times. They desire to share God’s love with those in need. Creative Hearts currently meets at 401 Ave. R. on Tuesdays from 9am-3pm. Anyone is welcome to participate in the ministry and fellowship, regardless of sewing ability, so please contact the church office at 830-693-4381 if you are interested.
The Mission Center
We are so excited about The Mission Center on Avenue R construction progress. The Mission Center will provide for the physical and spiritual needs of individuals and families living in the Highland Lakes community through ongoing relationships, life-giving programs, and mission partnerships. This will be an amazing place to serve and love people from all ages, backgrounds, races, and needs.
As we build, we will be planning a few local mission trips to help finish The Mission Center. We are also in need of funds to complete the project. Please prayerfully consider a one-time gift to help take the hope of Christ to our community.
Global Outreach
Jesus’ final call to his followers was to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. Our church takes this great commission very seriously and we embrace our identity as a sending church. It is our hope and prayer that God continues to stir in the lives of our people and raises up workers for the harvest.
