Newborn to 5th Grade
At FBC we desire to unfold the good news of Jesus Christ in progressively deep ways as children are spiritually formed into the image of Christ. We strive to foster a spiritually rich environment where our loving God captures their hearts and minds. We yearn for them to know Christ in a personal way and for them to have the abundant life He offers everyone who calls upon His name to be saved.
We understand that our Children’s Ministry is a family ministry where the church and home partner together in the spiritual training of children. We believe the home – the parents – are the primary agents for helping their children to follow Christ Jesus.
We take the safety of your child very seriously! Every adult in our classrooms has been interviewed, carefully trained, and has a current background check on file. We have a check-in and pick up policy for all our kids. There will be a volunteer available at our check-in stations to help you with the process.

9:00am (Newborn – 5th Grade)
Preschoolers will learn God made me, God loves me, and He wants to be my forever friend. Children will learn about making wise choices, trusting God no matter what, and treating others the way they want to be treated. Both preschool and children (three’s and up) will experience a Large Group, media-driven Bible Storytime and a Small Group community where they will delve deeper into the Bible story and explore life applications. Check-in stations located both downstairs and upstairs for parents.
10:30am (Newborn – 2nd Grade)

WEDNESDAY EVENINGS – FUNdations
6:00pm (K – 5th Grade)
Kids at First ministry is excited to offer a ministry geared to help kids, K-5th grade, grow in their faith and their understanding of what it means to follow Jesus. Fundations is on Wednesday nights, 6 to 8pm. We are learning foundational truths such as Bible Basics, followed by several more learning units: The Trinity – God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, our Identity, the Church/Family of God, Prayer, Reading Scripture, Developing a Timeline, and Showing Gospel. Each of these units will be life-giving and fun! We will incorporate a missions experience along with a craft and games.
Hi5 – 5th Grade Ministry
Hi5 is our ministry exclusively for those in 5th grade. Preteens are at an age where they need to be challenged to live out their faith with confidence and conviction in knowing what they believe and why they believe it. The ministry involves around this key verse – “And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him.” Luke 2:40
